Nordic Bridge

Digital portal for sustainable innovation

The Nordic Bridge project addresses challenges in the NPA region, such as brain drain, limited collaboration between academia and society, and underutilized research resources. The project creates a challenge-based digital portal that supports sustainability and innovation by connecting the needs of the public, private, community and education sectors with the expertise of students and researchers.

FrostBit’s web team is designing and developing a prototype of the Nordic Bridge project’s digital collaboration platform. The platform under construction is based on a challenge-based operating model, where different actors can bring up concrete problems, development needs and goals.

These challenges are passed on to students and researchers, who can tackle them based on their own expertise. The goal is to generate joint projects – for example theses and research collaborations – across organizational and national borders.

FrostBit’s role is to design and implement a user-oriented, clear and technically functional portal that enables smooth collaboration and supports regional development through innovation and information sharing.
