User-centric concept design for remote services

Developing remote service platforms with new technologies

The EtKot project, ran in cooperation with Lapland UAS and Universit of Lapland, develops a user-oriented remote service concept that brings together health, well-being and other service offerings on one modern, easy-to-use platform. The project will conduct a survey of current digital services and user experiences, based on which a modular remote service platform that works on PCs and smartphones will be designed.

FrostBit develops user-driven remote service concepts and prototypes, studies current digital services and user experiences, and explores the potential of new technologies (AI, XR, robotics) to improve the usability of remote services. Outputs include:

  • User-driven remote service concepts and prototypes
  • Modular remote service platform utilizing PC and mobile technology
  • Reports on the current situation, user experiences, and technical requirements
  • Technology assessments (AI, XR) and recommendations for further development
